10 months

This post is 12 days late...but better late than never!

I can't believe Lilly is already 10 months old and we are planning her 1st birthday party. It truly is amazing how fast time flies by. Lilly's hit many milestones recently and has really blossomed into a sweet, adorable, bubbly, outgoing, chattering little girl!

She loves food and loves to feed herself. We have recently tried many table foods and she is not seeming to be a picky eater at this point. She loves fish, chicken, pasta, turkey meatballs, green beans, blueberries, and cheerios. The only thing that she hasn't liked so far is broccoli and when I say she didn't like it she really didn't like it. She wanted nothing to do with it and did not even want it on her fingers and her tray.

She is walking while holding onto furniture, standing for long periods of time not holding on to anything and will occasionally take a step or two without holding onto anything or anyone holding on to her.

Our favorite thing right now is to hear her talk and giggle. She has a pretty big vocabulary for her age (or at least we think so). She says mama, dada, pup pup (for puppy), baby, ni ni (for bottle), bubba (we are not sure what bubba is yet), no no, boo (for book), ki cat, and when you ask her what the cow says she makes the mmmm sound.

She is very independent and has no problem playing alone at times, which is nice when dinner needs to be made or laundry needs to be washed. She loves routine and consistency. We have recently stopped a bedtime bottle and instead now give it to her with dinner. She has done extremely well and had no problems adjusting to not having a bottle right before bed. She gets a bath, we brush her teeth and goes down with no trouble. We often wonder how we got so lucky!

Every stage has been so fun and different and I've loved them all. I think right now though is my favorite so far. She is just so fun and outgoing and so much fun to be around! I can't wait to see what the future holds for our sweet girl!
