Christmas Tour of Homes 2009

I'm on tour with the "Nester Tour of Homes 2009"

Welcome to my home!

Christmas is my favorite time of year! This year we put up our decorations a little earlier so that we could enjoy them longer!

This is the arrangement that sits on the table in the foyer when you first walk in the front door. I added some fresh greens to it this year! I think they are pretty and smell yummy too!

Our Christmas village that sits on one of the countertops in the kitchen. We had so much fun putting this together this year and it turned out really pretty! My favorite is at night when all the kitchen lights are off and the village is all lit up.

One of my favorite things this year is my kitchen table centerpiece. It's gorgeous! I can't take credit for making it because my mom did! In the vase are pinecones from a tree planted when my stepfathers dad passed away. The whole thing is big and beautiful and makes such a statement when you walk in the kitchen since it's the first thing you see.

It has been quite the task this year keeping Lilly's little hands off the Christmas tree. She loves look at all the ornaments and then pulling them off and throwing them on the floor. Another one of my favorites are our Pottery Barn stockings and fresh greens on the shelves.

Some of the other Christmas decorations scattered around the house.

Our downstairs hall bathroom. It's red so it feels so festive especially with the Christmas decorations!

Meet Eddy! Eddy is our "Elf on a Shelf" and appears on different things in our house each day! He is here to make sure Lilly is being nice and not naughty! Lilly loves finding where Eddy is hiding every morning when she wakes up. Today he was sitting on a shelf with the wine!

Lilly's Christmas tree in her room! It's a white tree with fun colored ornaments all over it and a big polka dot bow at the top!

Merry Christmas from our home to yours!!
