We had a wonderful weekend and although Summer has not officially started it feels like it has and we are enjoying the warm weather! Saturday we spent the day at Dave's parent's house swimming and visiting! Eva just got home from being in China for six weeks. It was so much fun hearing all about her trip and what life is like in China!
Lilly was not in the mood for our photo shoot. All she really wanted to do was get in the pool and decorate cupcakes with Aunt Eva!
Cooper on the other hand is such a ham and doesn't mind having his picture taken at all!
Lilly and Aunt Eva decorated cupcakes out by the pool! It is all Lilly has talked about since. She had so much fun!
Lilly was hesitant about getting in the pool at first. She would stick in her big toe and then quickly pull it out. When anyone would ask her if she wanted help she would assure us that she could do it herself. Finally after 15 minutes of pacing the side of the pool and sticking her foot in and out Dave pulled her in. She was not very happy as you can tell by her face!
But, she quickly realized how much she loved it and was a little fish the rest of the day!
After swimming we all went out to dinner and then Lilly had a sleepover with Grandma Sherry, Grandpa Cliff and Aunt Eva. Lilly slept in her little bed and Eva in the big bed. Lilly was so excited for her sleepover. She had her bag packed on Friday night! When we left her she was reading books in bed with Aunt Eva! I was a lucky girl and had a date night with my two favorite boys! We went to get ice cream and then came home and watched movies! Sunday we picked Lilly up from her sleepover and when we walked in the door we got the "what are you doing here look". She definitely was not ready for us to be there to pick her up and take her home. We came home and relaxed for a little while and then headed out to my parents house for dinner! I can't wait to have many more weekends like this this summer!
