Sun and Sand

This past weekend we went to Virginia Beach with my Dad and Stepmom. We went to get out of Richmond and enjoy the "beachy" atmosphere and also to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins. We had a really nice time. Saturday we went to the beach and hung out for a while, then grilled out for dinner. After dinner we went down to the beach again to walk the boardwalk and enjoy the atmosphere. Then we went to "The Purple Cow" to get their famous purple vanilla milkshakes! Yummy! Saturday we didn't take Lilly to the beach because it was too hot for her and we didn't want to worry about her getting burnt. I really wanted her to see the beach and put her feet in the sand. So, Sunday before we headed home we stopped back by the beach and were able to take a couple family pictures and let Lilly put her feet in the sand! On our way home we also stopped by the Williamsburg outlets and did a little shopping! It was a really nice trip and nice to get away and spend time with family!
